Dubai, United Arab Emirates: KAOUN International, the new Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) events company and dmg events, the wholly owned subsidiary of Daily Mail and General Trust plc (DMGT), an international news portfolio , media and event activities, announced the signing of a joint venture agreement to develop an international portfolio in the catering and hospitality sectors.

The newly created company, KAOUN International, builds on DWTC’s formidable track record of delivering cutting-edge events that have helped establish not only the UAE, but the Middle East region as well, as the destination of choice for large international business events. Its portfolio of over 20 professional and consumer events covers sectors such as technology, food and hospitality, sustainability, broadcast and satellite, automotive, talent development and recreational marine.

As part of its first expansion into the international market, the new joint venture will launch The Saudi Food and Beverage Expo and the Saudi Food Manufacturing Expo in Riyadh of June 20-22, 2023. The inaugural event will be affiliated with GULFOOD Francethe world’s largest event brand trusted by the global F&B industry.

The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia will be rebranded for September 2023 to include the broader hospitality, HORECA and interior markets. dmg’s existing food and hospitality events in South Africa will also be transferred under the new joint venture.
